Kat Sears takes on this classic cocktail with local vermouth - If you're a Manhattan love you'll need to try this one out!

Ingredients
1.5 oz (45 mL) Aged Rum / 3 year - Havana Club
0.75 oz (22 mL) Dry Vermouth / Esquimalt Wine Company
0.25 oz (7mL) Rosso Vermouth / Esquimalt Wine Company
0.25 (7 mL) Orange Liqueur (Curaçao) / Triple Sec
1 bar spoon Red Wine Syrup* or Grenadine syrup
4 dashes Rosehips Lemon Peel Bitters / Rootside Bitters & Mixers
Directions
Stir ingredients in an ice filled mixing glass until chilled
Strain into a couple glass
Recipe Note
* Red Wine Syrup
Just like a 1:1 simple syrup but you replace the water with wine.
Heat 100g Red wine to just under a boil (85C-95C)
Dissolve 100g white granulated sugar into wine
Cool and store in frigde for up to 4 weeks
