This Vermouth is made in the traditional Italian Rosso style for use in classic cocktails, but with enough Vancouver Island character to stand on its own over ice or with a splash of soda.

We uncovered techniques, botanicals and formulas from the great, long-forgotten, 19th-century Vermouth houses of Italy and North America and combined this knowledge with a modern and empirical approach. We precisely blend our

Wildflower Traditional Mead with the 2013 Schönburger from Venturi-Schulze Vineyards, in the Cowichan Valley, and spirit from Stillhead Distillery in Duncan. We then add 32 different botanicals.

Each botanical is extracted completely separately from one another and then blended after extraction - this allows us to accurately dial in the exact desired flavour, regardless of seasonal/regional changes. We practice this blending method for all of our apéritif wines.
