Black Rum, Kina-Salal, Dry Vermouth, Fernet Branca. This is one of the cocktails Dave made for the current (winter 2020/21) issue of BC Liquor's Taste magazine. Being a "Close Enough" cocktail, it is of course inspired by a classic, or in this case, two!

Kina-Rouge / Cocktail Recipes
Bold and herbaceous, it's the best of both worlds
1.5 oz (45 mL) Black Rum / Goslings Black Seal
0.5 oz (15 mL) Kina-Rouge or Kina-Salal / Esquimalt
0.5 oz (15 mL) Dry Vermouth / Esquimalt
Short 0.25 oz (5 mL) Fernet Branca
Combine everything in a mixing glass with ice and stir.
Once cold and diluted, strain into a chilled coupette.
Garnish with a lemon twist and Bob's your uncle! Enjoy!
